I am Proud to be an Avon Lady
I know being an Avon Lady at my age is not the fashionable thing to do. I have never been concerned about the "fashionable". I am concerned about being able to provide products that I believe in an use myself.
I believe in Avon's products because they work for me. My skin looks better because of the skin care. The makeup does not give me acne. The perfume is affordable so I can by more than one bottle and switch around. The jewelry is nice because I can get several pieces and it is ALL NICKEL FREE. The clothing runs in my size. The household gadgets are names I know like Conair, Cuisinart, and Sharper Image.
Besides actually paying me a fair amount for my efforts, Avon is interested in helping women all over the world. The even have established a Foundation to support good works.
So to those that think that AVON is for MOMS only or Little Old Ladies, I say stop judging a book by you own preconceived idea. Give in to the idea that companies never change and the Avon of 1886 or the Avon of 1984 is the same Avon of today.
